COVID-19 UPDATE 21/12/2020:
As Hertfordshire moves into the updated Tier 4 restrictions, we are pleased to say that as an essential healthcare business we are currently able to remain open. This is based on guidance from our governing body, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and from Public Health England.
In line with this guidance we will have a conversation with all patients to jointly decide whether face-to-face treatment will be appropriate in each case. We will look at each individual case responsibly, and should we feel that there is a case to either delay treatment for a short while, or perhaps continue treatment virtually, we will make recommendations accordingly.
We have strict infection control measures in place, all staff will wear appropriate PPE during your appointment, and we will require you to wear a face covering as well. Keeping everyone as safe as possible during these times is paramount.
On the day of your appointment you will be called and we will go through a COVID-19 screening questionnaire with you to make sure it is safe for you to attend your appointment.
Upon arrival at the clinic you should wait outside or in your car until your physiotherapist comes to get you. You may then have your temperature taken with an infra red hand held thermometer. There will be hand sanitiser for you to use as you enter and exit the clinic. You should attend the clinic alone.
There will be no toilet facilities for patients to use.
Payment should be made by card (contactless) or by BACS payment in the unlikely case that this isn’t possible. Cash will not be accepted.
It is absolutely essential that you cancel your appointment if you become unwell in any way.
